Custom majlis seating
A majlis built to the room seats more people, in more comfort, than anything bought off the floor. We build both the traditional floor majlis and the framed sofa-height version.
The sofa-height majlis keeps the low back, deep seat and continuous line of the traditional majlis but on a hardwood frame at a height that suits older guests. We run it wall to wall, turn corners with mitred sections and build in side tables where you want them. The floor majlis is made from firm foam blocks with tall backs and arm bolsters, all in removable covers.
Fabrics are the heavy velvets, jacquards and chenilles that take a large family every week. We match the curtains to the seating in the same visit.

Matching curtains and cushions
One fabric across the room, or a considered mix. We bring the books.
Re-covering
An existing majlis re-covered in new fabric, usually within a week.

Three weeks for a framed majlis; two for a floor majlis.
Do you make majlis for tents and outdoor use?
Yes, in outdoor-rated fabrics and quick-dry foam for Ramadan tents and garden majlis.
