What things cost
Nobody likes asking. These are our guide prices for the most common jobs, with what is included and what moves the number. The real quote comes after the visit, itemised by window or by piece, and it is free.

What moves the price
Five things, in order.
1. Fabric
The biggest variable. Our books run from about AED 45 to AED 600 per metre. A window can take 6 to 12 metres.
2. Window size and height
Fabric is sold by the metre and ceilings in Dubai villas are often 3.5 m or more.
3. Lining and interlining
Blackout and thermal interlining add cost and a great deal of comfort.
4. Heading and track
Wave-fold needs a ripple track; motorising adds a motor and controls.
5. Access
Towers with service-lift bookings and NOCs, or double-height rooms that need a tower, take longer to fit.
